Simple Woman's Daybook - June 1st edition

FOR TODAY...

Outside my window... children playing

I am thinking... of nothing in particular

I am thankful for... hubby only working half-days all week

From the learning rooms... started the reading program from library today and gave the older 3 kids phonics lessons.

From the kitchen... didn't pull out the chicken pot pie stuff in time to defrost and make for supper so DH ran to town to get some frozen pizzas

I am wearing... black capris and baggy t-shirt

I am going... to bed early.....hopefully!

I am reading... Power of a Praying Wife for SHMILY TIME

I am hoping... for something chocolate

I am praying... for my husband, for patience, endurance and joy for me

I am hearing... a little boy pushing his car on the street instead of the driveway.....sigh

Around the house... trying to keep up with basics and kids chores while we get back into the swing of things

One of my favorite things... kissing chubby baby cheeks!

A few plans for the rest of the week: concentrating on keeping healthy and recovering
