Simple Womans' Daybook - May 18th edition

FOR TODAY

Outside my window...windy, sunny and green

I am thinking...about how little I got done today but how nice it is to relax once and awhile

I am thankful for...slow days like today

From the learning rooms...school is over but planning for next year is in the works. I got the last book that I needed for next year and will be pre-reading several of them. Also making a light school schedule to use throughout the summer.

From the kitchen...have a crockpot of spaghetti sauce cooking and need to cut up the cooked chicken to freeze and throw in the sauce. Our neighbor's husband is very ill so will be taking her some supper tonight.

I am wearing...The largest most comfortable maternity clothes that I can find:)

I am creating...a letter to my great aunt

I am reading...John Adams by David McCullough and The Tale of Despereaux to the kids

I am hoping...baby will decide to join us in the next 12 hours!

I am hearing...kids playing outside

Around the house...keeping things prepped for baby's arrival

One of my favorite things...quiet time in the afternoons

A few plans for the rest of the week:tomorrow is my last prenatal appointment and hubby will be coming with us. Other than that just keeping things ready for baby to come.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

a rainy afternoon when they were all so little
